He explains that we are encountered with toxins on a daily basis, and if we don’t help minimize the amount of toxins we are taking in, then it could lead to negative health symptoms. These toxins he speaks of, are everywhere — Food we eat, air we breathe & water we drink.

Many herbal colon cleansers put large amounts of cascara sagrada and/or senna in their product. These two herbs have been known to do horrible things to a person, when used in the incorrect manner. There are many side effects associated with both herbs, so make sure to discuss the use of cascara sagrada or senna with your doctor.

I personally don’t think that ALL herbs are bad, even some of the more popular herbs used in colon cleansing can be safe when used correctly… I’m specifically referring too Psyllium. But the most important thing to remember, is that you do the proper research on anything you put into your body.

She explains how your colon can become compacted, and eventually your stools will become very thin. There are many signs you can look for, to help determine if you have an unhealthy colon, but the most obvious sign, is definitely the volume of your stools.

If you have an unhealthy colon or just suffer from constipation frequently, then you need to look at your diet, and what you eat on a daily basis. Do you eat alot of junk food and fast food? Or do you eat a diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables? A high-fiber diet is key to maintaining a healthy colon.

I present this video for education purposes only. I do not think Cascara Sagrada is the best choice for treating constipation. There are much better options out there, but cascara sagrada is a common remedy for constipation. Remember, just because something is “All Natural” doesn’t mean it’s safe.

Frankly, I don’t agree 100% with his assessment of Cascara Sagrada.

Will Cascara Sagrada help with symptoms of constipation? Of course it will, but it can also cause a vast number of side effects at the same time. So, it is always advised to play it safe. Do the proper research on WHO you are buying it from. Discuss cascara sagrada with your doctor, because it is possible for it to negatively interact with medications you may already be taking.

First, the guy talks about how he did a 40-hour water fasting. He later admits that doing a juice fast would’ve been easier and probably more beneficial. So, do your research before trying any cleansing fast.

He then goes on to get a colon hydrotherapy treatment, despite the fact that he has no idea what it is all about. He starts off talking to the hydrotherapist. She explains what will go on during the treatment session.

This is easily the best video I’ve found on YouTube that discusses colon hydrotherapy. It’s very informative, but provides a few splashes of humor along the way. If you’re interested in getting this treatment done, be sure to watch this video first.

And please don’t forget to discuss hydrotherapy with your doctor, as well as do the proper research, BEFORE undergoing any treatment.

The quality of the video is not great, and it may be wise to turn up the volume on your speakers. The Captain basically gives an eight-minute history lesson about cleansing the colon.

It’s a pretty cheesy video, with some pretty wild claims… But nonetheless, Captain Colon makes some pretty good points about why maintaining a clean colon is beneficial to your longterm health.
